The Weber Space Formula

Spatial action as the ontological foundation of mass, energy, and gravitation — with the extension to the Unified Membrane Resonance Theory (UMRT)

Status: An ontological foundational theory by an independent author — model-theoretically consistent, in principle empirically testable, presently unconfirmed and not peer-reviewed. It does not replace any established theory, but supplements it causally and submits it for discussion.

1  Ontological Foundation

The origin of physical reality is not placed at mass or energy, but at spatial action. Space is not merely a geometric coordinate system or a passive container — it is the active condition from which physical states can first arise. Space represents possibility; spatial action is the structuring force that transforms this possibility into stable forms.

The fundamental causal reversal reads:

Mass does not generate spatial action — spatial action generates mass.

Energy exists only insofar as spatial action permits it. Mass arises not as a substance, but as the final state of fully stabilized energy under maximal spatial action. The Weber Space Formula thus describes a causal condition layer beneath established physics.

2  Action Factor and Dual Energy Form

The starting point is two energy forms:

Pre-stable (open spatial action)

E(R) = (m3 / m02) · c2 · Φ(R) (1)

Post-stable (closed spatial action)

E(R) = (m3 / m02) · c2 · Ψ(R) (2)

The term (m3 / m02) does not describe a geometric mass distribution, but the volumetric spatial action strength relative to a reference quantity m0.

Definition

W(R) = Ω(R) = m3 / m02 (3)

The general form thus reads:

E(R) = W(R) · Φ(R) · c2
E(R) = W(R) · Ψ(R) · c2 (4)

In the neutral limit case:

W = 1,   Φ = 1,   Ψ = 1   ⇒   E = m · c2 (5)
Einstein's energy equation thus appears as the special case of fully stabilized spatial action.

3  Gravitation and Mass as State Forms

Two action states of the same cause are distinguished:

Gravitational action degree (open spatial action)

G(R) = W(R) · Φ(R) (6)

Mass action degree (closed spatial action)

M(R) = W(R) · Ψ(R) (7)

Energy appears in the open state as gravitation and in the closed state as mass. Gravitation is not a consequence of an object, but the non-finalized form of the same spatial action from which mass emerges.

4  Spatial Action and Cosmological Observations

Phenomena such as the Bullet Cluster, gravitational lenses without local mass, cosmic filaments, and black holes show that gravitational action is not necessarily bound to material matter. These observations can be consistently explained if spatial action is primary and mass is emergent.

5  Relationship to the Theory of Relativity

General Relativity correctly describes the dynamics of stabilized mass in space. The Weber Space Formula describes the condition under which mass can arise in the first place.

Relativity begins at mass.
The Weber Space Formula begins before mass.

6  Stabilization and Degrees of Freedom

Freely propagating energy possesses unlimited degrees of freedom. Identity arises only through their withdrawal. Spatial action causes this loss of degrees of freedom. When this process is fully completed, mass arises as a stable final state.

Mass is not a substance — mass is stabilization.

7  Black Holes as Boundary States

Black holes are not accumulations of matter, but states of maximal spatial action. In their singularity, all degrees of freedom are abolished. Time dilation grows with increasing spatial action and approaches zero in the limit. Time as a measure of change ends completely.

8  Trans-Sectoral Coupling

A space sector in which all degrees of freedom are abolished allows no further physical development. Energy can neither remain there nor be further transformed. Full stabilization therefore forces a transition into another space sector.

9  White Holes and the Emergence of Universes

White holes are not observable within a universe, since they do not constitute local objects. They are boundary events between space sectors.

What appears in one universe as a black hole projects itself in another space sector as a singular event: a white hole. This event releases the fully stabilized infinity of one universe into another universe.

There, spatial action begins to act openly again. Time arises anew, degrees of freedom become available, and a new universe forms from the released energy.

The so-called Big Bang is, in this model, not an absolute beginning, but the manifestation of a white hole.

10  Cyclical, Non-Temporal Cosmology

Since time is reduced to zero in the transitional state, the cycle of black hole and white hole is not temporally sequential. It is structurally cyclical, yet ontologically simultaneous.

The overall connection reads:

Black hole  →  Time = 0  →  Transition
White hole  →  Time arises  →  Universe

What was, what is, and what will be exist simultaneously at the level of spatial action.

11  Dark Matter as Pre-Mass

Dark matter is not a substance, but spatial action prior to full stabilization. It acts gravitationally without locally appearing as mass.

12  Mathematical Minimal Form (Canonical)

For a consistent description, the following are introduced:

Stabilization dynamics (minimal form):

□ s  =  α · W(R) · (1 − s(R))  −  β · s(R) (8)

13  Limit Cases

14  Status of the Theory

The Weber Space Formula is an ontological foundational theory. It does not replace any established theory but supplements them causally. Its statements are model-theoretically consistent and in principle empirically testable, but presently unconfirmed.

Further development of the Weber Space Formula · As of: 12 April 2026

I. The Foundation: Inter-Space Layering

The universe is a multilayer system of infinite, elastic membranes. Matter does not exist as an independent substance, but is a state of preservation of space.

1. Massless Gravitation (Dark Matter)

Gravitation is the geometric push-through of curvatures from neighbouring space layers.

Insight: A "black hole" is not a point of infinite density in our space, but a place where two membranes touch or merge. The enormous gravitation is the radical tension state of this contact.

2. Observer Stabilization (Quantum Physics)

The double-slit experiment is not a paradox of particle physics, but a proof of wave crossing.

The Weber interpretation: Light propagates as a pure wave within the rubber sheet. As soon as an observer (measuring device) "looks", it itself emits an energetic wave.

The effect: Where the light wave and the observer wave cross, constructive interference arises. The spatial action W is compressed at this point so strongly that it stabilizes into a "particle" (electron / photon).

Conclusion: The observer does not create the particle by a "ghostly hand", but by physical pressure.

II. The Final Weber Space Formula (V. 2026)

The universal equation for reality (R) at point x is defined as:

R(x)  =  Ψlocal · (d Φext)  +  Res(B × O) (9)

The Components

III. Addition: The Black Hole as Membrane Contact

In a black hole, the pressure of an outer layer (Mext) reaches a critical value that "breaks through" the local membrane (Mours).

Event horizon: The zone in which spatial action W is so strongly deformed that no wave (light) can escape any more, because the rubber sheet is already "frozen stiff".

Singularity: Does not exist as infinite density, but as a transition point into the next rubber sheet. A black hole is a "valve" in the layered system.

IV. Final Theorem of the Further Development

The universe does not "suffer" from missing matter (dark matter) — we suffer from a restricted perception. We see only the stabilized crossing points (nodes).

Today's insight: Gravitation is the language of infinity that echoes through all layers. Matter is merely the echo we can hear in our own sheet. If we learn to control the interference between the layers, we can stabilize or dissolve matter at any point in space.

"It is not matter that curves space — it is the pressure of the infinite spaces that forces our space into matter."
— Extended Weber Theorem, 2026

Appendix B  Call for Empirical Verification of the UMRT

"Today's physics has reached a point at which it must fill 95 % of reality with invisible ghosts (dark matter / energy) in order to rescue its old formulas. My theory of massless gravitation through space layering offers a physical explanation without paradoxes. But a theory is only as strong as its proofs. I therefore call for the examination of the following four pillars:"

1. Proof of "Presence-less Curvature" (Brane Pressure Test)

The demand: "We must stop believing that behind every bending of light in space, a lump of matter must hide. I call for a systematic investigation of the great 'voids'."

The experiment: With telescopes such as James Webb or Euclid, we must search specifically for gravitational lensing effects in regions where demonstrably no gas or stars exist.

The goal: If we find this curvature in nothingness, it is proven: gravitation is induced by the pressure of a neighbouring membrane. Einstein's mass axiom would thereby be exposed as a special case.

2. "Observer Interference" in the Double Slit (Stabilization Proof)

The demand: "The double-slit experiment is not a riddle, it is an interference phenomenon. I call for measurement to be treated as an active physical intervention."

The experiment: An experiment in which the energy (frequency) of the measurement probe (the 'observer') is precisely scaled. We must measure how the 'hardness' or 'position' of the resulting electron changes when we vary the frequency of the observer wave.

The goal: Proof that the particle 'freezes' (stabilizes) to a point only through the crossing of two wave fields in space. The particle is not an object, it is an event.

3. Detection of "Echo Resonances" (Black Hole Contact)

The demand: "A black hole is not a singularity, it is the contact point of two worlds. I call for an analysis of the ringdowns in gravitational waves."

The experiment: The evaluation of LIGO data following the merger of black holes must be examined for secondary echoes which result not from mass but from the tension of the membrane boundary layer.

The goal: These echoes would be the proof that we are dealing with a layered medium (the rubber sheet) which, after an extreme stress, resounds like a bell.

4. The "Vacuum Variance" of Inertia (Inertia Check)

The demand: "Inertia is the resistance of space against the movement of a stabilization node. We must test whether this resistance is constant."

The experiment: High-precision acceleration tests of test masses in different environments (extreme vacuum shielding vs. open space).

The goal: If we can demonstrate that the inertia of a mass minimally fluctuates depending on how high the local spatial-action density is, then it is proven: matter is not a fixed quantity but a flexible state of space.

Appendix C  Addendum to the UMRT (V. 2026.1)

Empirical Coupling and Quantum Resonance · Date: 23 April 2026

Concerning: Integration of the Weber Space Formula into current quantum metrology and observations of celestial holography.

I. The Solution of the Matter Paradox

The UMRT defines matter not as an entity but as an inter-membrane coupling effect. Current data from gravitational-wave astronomy (LISA mission 2026) supports the assumption that the universe is permeated by a stochastic background noise, which the UMRT interprets as the friction energy of the layers.

Dark matter: It is not a particle stream, but the measurable gradient of the external pressure (d Φext). We do not observe mass, but the deformation of our "rubber sheet" by the load of neighbouring membranes.

II. The Observer-Induced Formation of Matter

As an extension of Theorem II, the way in which the resonance component Res(B×O) leads to particle stabilization is specified:

III. The Interface Model of the Singularity

The UMRT discards the classical singularity. Based on the principles of celestial holography, the black hole is defined as a trans-membrane interface.

Event horizon: The zone of maximal membrane stiffening. Information is not destroyed here but rewritten onto the contact surface of the next layer.

The "Weber Breakthrough": When the pressure Φext exceeds the local resistance Ψlocal, a valve (black hole) opens that enables an energy balance between the multilayer systems.

IV. Updated Weber Space Formula

For the precise calculation of the reality density R at a point x, the extended version now applies:

R(x)  =  Ψlocal · ∇Φext  +  Res(B × O) (10)
Extended Weber Space Formula · V. 2026.1
"We do not exist in a space full of things — we are the resonance patterns of an infinitely layered medium."
— Theorem of Interference

Concluding Scientific Classification

The UMRT 2026 closes the gap between macro-gravitation and micro-quantum mechanics by describing both as mechanical tension states of the same medium. Proof of "membrane friction" through highly sensitive quantum sensors is imminent and will usher in the age of resonance technology, in which matter can be manipulated through targeted wave interference.
